While searching the documents, you will encounter e-mail messages, letters or other documents that refer to attachments
by name or by description. Finding these attachments may involve a number of different strategies:

First look for documents
"close" to the original - go to the previous and next documents by clicking on the Bates Number arrows located on the search results page,
the document record page and the top of the PDF itself.

To find documents that were written in a language other than English, use the Expert Search
page to search for languages in the following fields:

In the British American Tobacco (BAT) collection -
- search for the following languages by their two letter codes in the Language field (lg:):
Arabic - ar
Chinese - ch
French - fr
German - de
Greek - el
Hindu - hi
Italian - it
Russian - ru
Spanish - es
- To search for documents in languages not listed above, search the Language field (lg:) for
"unkn" in combination with the name of the country in the Country field (ct:)

to claim(s) of attorney-client privilege, work product protection and/or joint defense/common legal interest privilege.

To find the records of documents that are considered "privileged", search the Document Status field (st:) for the term "priv"

- To find documents that were considered "privileged" but have since been released for viewing, search the Document Status field (st:) for the letter "U"
