Description A brief exploration of Marlboro's marketing trends looking at the apparently seasonal fluctuations in sales. Shipment based consumer trend, supermarket scanner reports, and Nielson food store data was used to analyze the trends. Marketing promotions by other brands had only temporary impact. Marlboro's placement in convenience stores was also addressed, but it still falls short of RJR's Brands mentioned: Marlboro, Players, Generics, Barclay, Winston, Merit, Century, Camel.
